Kacie Brown is the frontwoman, bandleader, and powerhouse vocalist of The Vision. As the founder of the band in April 2023, she has been the driving force behind its creative direction. Drawing on the talents of instrumentalists and artists who inspire her, many of whom are also close friends, Kacie has built a tight-knit team that thrives on collaboration and shared passion.

Will Penne, the newest addition to The Vision, holds down the rhythm section as the band’s drummer. A versatile musician and the missing piece of the puzzle, Will’s tight grooves and creative input have helped shape the band’s evolving sound.

Miles Pretel, a talented pianist and keyboardist from St. Paul, Minnesota, is one of the founding members of The Vision. Beyond his exceptional instrumental skills, Miles is also a producer and composer, playing a key role in shaping the band’s sound and songwriting process. Alongside Kacie, he forms the duo Mpkb, performing an eclectic mix of covers and original music across the Chicagoland area. As one of the band’s biggest influences, Miles truly shines—a star in every sense.

Stephen Ryan, another founding member of The Vision, is a versatile guitarist whose skill and artistry shine on every stage. Known for his ability to shred across genres, Stephen is a fixture in the Chicagoland music scene. His sensitivity and creativity as a musician make him an indispensable part of the band.

Christopher Ihrig brings dynamic talent and energy to The Vision as a guitarist and contributor to production and composition. His collaborative spirit and dedication to the band’s music make him an invaluable team player. Chris also partners with Kacie for occasional guitar-vocal duos, showcasing his versatility. Simply put, we love Ihrig—he’s a gem!

Samara Nesin is primarily known as a skilled guitarist, but in The Vision, they bring their artistry to the bass. Their keen ear, artistry, and compassionate nature make them a vital and unique presence in the band. Simply put, Samara is a rockstar.
